Within the walls of a crumbling tenement hotel, 10-year-old Marty shuffles through the dingy halls making his meager living as a messenger for the eclectic hotel residents. Marty dreams of escaping that isolated, msierable reality with his hottest friend, Maureen, who is a young prostitute in the hotel. Evreything changes for them over the course of one pivotal night as an accidental mix up leads to heartbreak, guilt, and irreparable damage.
Marty and Maureen are forced to leave the hotel, but not in the way either of them had imagined.
